Hull:

  • Strip plank construction, 15 mm western red cedar or yellow cedar, glued with a REA epoxy system.
  • Glass sheathing: outside bi-axial and twill, inside twill.
  • Structural members of the hull (stem, hog, etc) laminated or solid mahogany.
  • Plywood bulkheads etc. Gaboon WBP plywood.
  • Outside keel and bilge keels solid hardwood.
  • Beamshelf is made of Larch.
  • Transom laminated hardwood (mahogany or oak), bright finished.
  • The sheer strake can be painted or finished with varnished mahogany (extra).

Deck:

  • Fore and aft deck 12 mm Gaboon ply, sheathed with 200 g glass cloth. This can be painted or have a teak and mahogany top layer fitted (extra).
  • Deckbeams laminated or solid hardwood (mahogany or oak).

Cockpit:

  • The cockpit is surrounded by a varnished mahogany coaming, set inside a narrow side deck.
  • Steering console is varnished mahogany.
  • The cockpit floor is finished in the same way as the decks, painted panels or with a teak top layer (extra).
  • The engine box is visually part of the seating arrangement, sound insulated, and can be taken out for easy acces to the engine.
  • There is a helmsmans seat, and fold away passenger seat on the starboard side.
  • The seating is either a solid mahogany bench, or a built in locker arrangement (extra). This can be supplied with seating cushions in the colour and fabric of your choice (extra).

Interior of cuddy:

  • The interior of the hull structure is bright finished.
  • Underside deck, bulkheads, bunksides, etc are finished white, with any trim in varnished hardwood (mahogany or oak).
  • Aft of the forward bulkhead is a bunk port and starboard that can be made into a double berth. Underneath the bunks is storage for four batteries (hybrid drive), water tank or general storage.
  • Port side is the galley unit, with stove of your choice (extra), slide out sink and storage.
  • Starboard side is the porta potti hidden away in storage locker (externally vented), cupboard space above.
  • Mattresses are covered in fabric in the colour of your choice.
  • Ventilation is added by a mushroom vent in the fore deck and ventilation openings in the companionway doors.
